The western slopes of the Pocono Mountains are home to the 15,990-acre Hickory Run State Park in Carbon County. This vast park includes hiking paths spanning more than 40 km, three natural regions in state parks, miles of streams with trout, and a spectacular boulder-filled landscape known as Boulder Field, a National Natural Landmark.
Every day of the year, from sunrise to sunset, the park is accessible. At sunset, day use zones close. The tourist center has set hours of operation. The beach, overnight areas, and other locations only operate at certain times of the year. For facility seasons and hours, get in touch with the visitor center.
