Pocono Snake & Animal Farm - Family-Friendly Petting Zoo with Exotic Animals 

Since it opened more than 50 years ago, Pocono Snake & Animal Farm has delighted children of all ages with everything from lizards to lemurs! A great "beginning zoo" for kids, where they may bottle-feed pot-bellied pigs and goats, as well as feed monkeys, lemurs, black bears, and even alligators in the summer, all at a place they can visit in an hour or less. This miniature zoo will amuse you while also educating you, thanks to its enormous python and tiny Cotton-Top Tamarin.

Our institution has been run by our family for more than 50 years. Because their prior owners were unable to provide for their exotic pets, the majority of our animals and reptiles came to us as donations. Now that they are receiving the care they need, these creatures are living happier and healthier lives. Some of them have even appeared with famous people like the late Jack Hanna and Steve "Crocodile Hunter" Irwin! The many fun-loving monkeys who show off for fruit and vegetables (available here) from fun-loving humans, a pair of sloths, ring-tailed lemurs, bobcats, raccoons, an African serval, wallabies, a back-talking Macaw, petting animals, and more are just a few of the species that we give homes to.

Even the pickiest herpetologist will be pleased with our collection of reptiles, which includes the Gaboon Viper, Water Moccasin, 100-pound Alligator Snapping Turtle, and our outdoor pond, home to alligators, goldfish, and turtles.
