Our goal is simple: to help people experience something new, different, and memorable and have a great time doing so!
In reality, Mountain Creek Riding Stable has been in operation for more than 20 years. Despite our humble beginnings, we have developed into the top equestrian riding facility in the Poconos for tourists. Even though our objective is straightforward, the implementation is anything but, and our committed staff works hard to make sure that everything goes according to plan. Horses need a lot of attention, from food to grooming to training. However, we at Mountain Creek Stable are aware of the benefits of our labor. Horse enthusiasts are aware that once you fall in love with a horse, it's impossible to get out of it. In reality, our staff members have taken home a sizable number of the horses we've retired due to old age.
Ride across the Pocono Mountains in comfort at Bushkill Riding Stables.
The stable's guided trail rides run through picturesque forests and are situated inside the Delaware Water Gap Natural Recreation Area.
Inexperienced riders will be in the saddle in no time after the 30-minute introductory ride. All day long, they also provide 45-minute trail rides.
All year long, Bushkill Riding Stables is open, and the sledding rides in the winter are not to be missed!
The Trail: Our journey is ideal for the daring novice or occasional rider. Open fields, forests, and hills make up the stunning variety of landscape that our path meanders across. The attractiveness of the pathways is enhanced by lush Rhododendron wetlands that are covered in moss and fern and fed by intermittent freshwater springs.
(The journey lasts around one hour, including time for instruction before leaving the barn area.)
Even though we focus on novice and infrequent riders, this activity is not for everyone.
RIDING IS NOT AN AMUSEMENT RIDE.
THAT IS, A SPORT. You must actively participate in it!
